She dressed the part

6.21.2012

The other day when Caleb sat down to read, Madeline decided she wanted to "read" too.  Being in her Snow White gown, it was fitting that she chose to "read" St. George and the Dragon.

Caleb was so gracious and let her read first.  He's such a sweetie.  Eventually the storyteller reached the end, and reading time continued with Caleb.  No, he didn't dress the part also.  He'd need a hen or dog costume for that, as he finished up reading Along Came a Dog by Meindert De Jong.  And well, we don't have any costumes like that.

This couch by the window certainly has great light! I love how much they read!

Yes, I agree about the window. You are so fortunate to have so much natural light. I love it when that little girl of yours dresses up. She is such a doll. I can't wait for her to read me a story.

What a great big brother... and that dress is too cute on her, but it sure doesn't outshine her cuteness!

Adorable pair!

About This Blog

This blog is a place where we have shared our lives with family and friends while we waited to bring our daughter, Madeline, home from China and while we actually traveled to China for her. It is also a place where we will continue to share our life experiences, as we try to glorify God and raise our two precious dumplings from China.

And now we wait to bring Havi home from China.
